About Me

I worked in a bank for over 20 years, part time since my son was born in 1999.  For the last 15 years I was a Personal Banker and really enjoyed helping customers to choose the right type of account to suit their needs.  I love talking to people and this was the ideal role.

I have also run a Slimming World group in Darlington since 2000.  It must be one of the best jobs around because you are helping people to change their lives for the better.  Motivating them to achieve their weight loss target is incredibly rewarding.

In 2007 I decided that I would like a change of direction.  I have always had a passion for clothes and make-up.  So I decided to take the required courses to enable me to become an Image Consultant.  They were all very enjoyable and I am now able to help others to improve and develop their own self image.

I am also a fully trained Virgin Vie at Home Consultant.  This allows me to do make-up parties, one to ones etc.  As such I can also supply clients with any make-up or skin care products that they require.

The experience I have had over the years has given me the ability to help people to transform themselves and become the person they want to be.  Knowing that they have the knowledge to wear the right clothes in the best colours and styles for them - clients look and feel much more confident.  This in turn makes others respond more positively towards them.

I love my new job!  It's fabulous to see clients 'bloom' when they realise their true potential.
